Hello, my name is Josh Sanford, I'm the creator of these dugouts. A few years back I got a free 4" chillum as a free gift at the local dispensary. I really liked how it hit compared to the old metal bats that I was used to, so I decided that I needed to create a nice box to hold it. I really liked how it turned out, so I made a few more for gifts to my pothead friends and family, and soon their friends expressed interest as well. Motivated by the positive feedback, I embarked on a redesign journey, aiming to create a marketable product. After about 6 months and a few different prototypes, I finally achieved a version that satisfied me. I make every dugout in my garage in Sullivan, MO.
